Adam grew up hunting and fishing in Utah’s outdoors since he was able to hold a rifle and rod and he credits his father for instilling a love of the outdoors and the importance of being a responsible outdoorsman.
His great outdoor passions are hunting elk, deer, upland game, fly fishing and “dunking a worm with the kids.” For fifteen years he’s guided elk and deer hunters on Utah’s public lands and is currently a guide for Wild Country Outfitters at Deseret Land and Livestock, but he looks equally forward to being in Utah’s backcountry with his two sons and two daughters; Alex, Madison, Taylor and Ethan.
Adam is in his 13th season hosting KSL Outdoors with Adam Eakle on KSLTV, the NBC affiliate in Salt Lake City. He covers anything outdoors and knows the importance of quality gear to keep warm and dry in the outdoors. “We cover stories on anything outdoors anytime. It doesn’t matter what the weatherman says, we go out and shoot a show and King’s is on every adventure. I’ve seen every type of clothing worn in the outdoors and King’s is second to none. There is no one out there that covers or conceals as well as King’s does. My favorite pattern is the Desert Shadow and love their XKG layering system as well. From ice fishing at Flaming Gorge to chasing monster mule deer in Sonora, King’s has always got me covered.”
